Blåtur is operated by SSW AS, a Norwegian company. This Privacy Policy explains what data is handled when you use our iOS application. By using the app you agree to the practices described here.
Short version: SSW AS does not collect, store, or share any personal information about you. No account or sign-up is required.

2. Data We Do Not Collect
SSW AS does not collect any personal data. Specifically, we do not collect or store:
- Your name, email address, or Apple ID
- Device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, or similar)
- Location data
- Usage analytics or crash reports
- Any data from other apps or websites
No data is ever sent to any SSW AS server.
3. How the App Works
When you use Blåtur, the following network activity takes place:
- Flight price requests: the app sends an anonymous query to the Travelpayouts API containing the destination airport code and travel dates you selected. No personal identifier is included. Travelpayouts may log standard server information such as your IP address in accordance with their own privacy policy.
- Booking redirect: when you tap "Book" or "Find prices", the app opens Aviasales in Safari. From that point, Aviasales' own terms and privacy policy apply.
- Local preferences: your filter settings (budget range, temperature, UV, travel style) are stored locally on your device only and are never transmitted.
4. Third-Party Services
The app interacts with the following third-party services. Their own privacy policies govern the data they may receive:
- Travelpayouts API — flight price data provider. See travelpayouts.com/privacy-policy
- Aviasales — flight booking platform. See aviasales.com/privacy
SSW AS does not control these services and is not responsible for their data practices.
5. Affiliate Links
The app contains affiliate links to Aviasales via the Travelpayouts affiliate program. Tapping "Book" or "Find prices" may result in a commission for SSW AS — at no additional cost to you. Affiliate tracking is handled entirely by Travelpayouts/Aviasales and does not involve SSW AS collecting any data about you.
6. Tracking and Advertising
Blåtur does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not:
- Use advertising identifiers (IDFA)
- Build advertising or behavioural profiles
- Use any analytics SDKs or tracking frameworks
- Share data with data brokers or ad networks
7. App Store Privacy Nutrition Label
In accordance with Apple's App Store requirements, Blåtur is declared as "Data Not Collected" — meaning SSW AS does not collect any data linked or linkable to your identity from use of this app.
8. Children's Privacy
Blåtur does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The app is a general-audience travel inspiration tool with no content restrictions.
9. Data Security
Since SSW AS does not collect or store any user data, there is no user data at risk from our systems. All network requests made by the app to third-party APIs are transmitted over HTTPS.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when changes were last made. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
